Vast opportunities await you after completion of the NUS Overseas Colleges programme. When you return, the team from NUS Venture Support (NVS) will be on hand to help you start your company. NVS provides incubation space for technology start-ups founded by NUS students, staff and alumni. Start-ups will be able to leverage on NVS from their initial seed stage, to starting up a company, and eventually venturing into foreign markets.

The NUS Industry & Technology Relations Office (INTRO) will also assist you in the protection and management of your intellectual property. INTRO evaluates invention disclosures by you to determine the need for protection and feasibility for commercializing your technology. Your applications to patent inventions are also managed by INTRO, which handles the entire process, leading to the granting of patents by the US or any other territory.

Participate in the Startup@Singapore Business Plan Competition and get assistance to start your new ventures. Some of the attractive prizes that winners can get include the facilities and support services of the NUS Business Incubator, IBM hardware work-stations, servers and software, and up to S$30,000 start-up funds.
