The Graduate Research and Internship Programme in Bangalore (GRIP) is the first overseas college for NUS graduate students. It opens up exciting opportunities for NUS students to work in Bangalore, India – the second fastest growing economy in the world.

A Highly Unique Experience
GRIP is a prestigious graduate certificate program designed to grow a community of entrepreneurial and India-savvy students familiar with technology transfer and commercialization processes. It entails students interning in the high technology entrepreneurial hub of Bangalore which plays host to some of the biggest technology companies in the world.

The companies include multinationals such as IBM, CISCO Systems, Texas Instruments, Lucent Technologies, Hewlett-Packard, Oracle, Novell as well as home-grown global technology names such as Infosys Technologies and Wipro. Bangalore is also home to GE's biggest R&D Center outside of the US - the Jack Welch Technology Centre.

Research and Study with the Best
Students may choose to further their research interest at the prestigious Indian Institute of Science (IISc), a premier graduate institution of research and learning and take courses there. Alternatively, they may choose to do research at the companies based in Bangalore.
