Since the inaugural conference organized by the NOC alumni and Harvard Business School Alumni in 2006, BioBiz will return in 2008 in its third year running. Biobiz is the only student-focused Biomedical Conference held in Singapore and each year draws more than 450 industry leaders and students from diverse disciplines, ranging from life sciences, pharmacy, engineering and more.

Scheduled to be held on 29th March at Matrix at the Biopolis, BioBiz 2008 is led by the NOC alumni, jointly organized by undergraduates from the National University of Singapore and Nanyang Technological University and proudly supported by the Singapore Economic Development Board.

Through interactive platforms, BioBiz 2008 aims to:

• Create awareness in the student population about career opportunities within the Biomedical Industry,
• Provide attendees with a holistic view of emerging trends and opportunities in the Biomedical Industry in Singapore

One of this year’s conference highlights is the LunchTime Networking. Combining a career fair and numerous round table discussions with recent graduates, the LunchTime Networking provides a platform for the attendees to interact with industry professionals and leaders and to form multi-disciplinary networks amongst students and industry people from diverse background.
